Don't touch Internet
Thailand's Military Junta has authorised internet providers in Thailand to shut down any websites with content that threatens the national security or violates Section 112 (also known as lese majeste) "in 30 seconds" without seeking approval from any authority.
The move is seen in response to a lack of cooperation by foreign media companies in removing content the Thai government finds offensive. For example, 2014 Google did not remove any content requested by Thailand's Military Junta.

LINE Stickers
Big Brother is watching you
Minister Pornchai Rujiprapa from Thailand's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) told the press during the presentation of its new LINE Stickers campaign to promote General Prayuth Chan-ocha's 12 national core values that the ministry can monitor all the nearly 40 million LINE messages sent by people in Thailand each day. We can trace where the messages originally come from, he said.
Update (December 23rd): South Korea-based Naver Corp, the owners of the LINE messaging service, denied reports that the Thai government was monitoring its users' communications in the country.
Update (December 24th): Thailand's Military Junta insists that it has the ability to search for anti-monarchy remarks on private chat messages. Thailand's Ministry of Information, Communication, and Technology (ICT) claims that it is currently monitoring more than 40 million messages sent via the popular chat application LINE every day...
Update (December 29th): Since Line encrypts all messages, it is technically impossible to monitor Line's conversations by any third party, Naver Corp. announced.
Pattaya's Property Market gets sick
A weak Ruble means not only fewer Russian tourists to Thailand, it also means that the rapidly weakening Rubel brings trouble to Pattaya's already overheated property sector.
It is no secret that Russian customers already have problems paying down payments and there are now signs that they start giving up their purchases.
But it is not only the Rubel that depreciate, the Indian currency, the Rupee, is also in a weak state.
Indians are customers as well as investors in Jomtien's Condo market.
Therefore: If you are interested to buy some property in Pattaya, Hua Hin or Phuket: WAIT!
The prices will go down soon!

The Entertainer
Junta Leader General Prayuth Chan-ocha, the man who likes to bring happiness (back) to Thailand, would be a perfect entertainer.
On May 28th, 2014, six days only after his military coup, he announced that he would establish a national internet gateway to better monitor websites and social media platforms, and told local media he would be requesting Facebook, YouTube and the chat application LINE to ban user accounts with illegal content.
Yesterday General Prayuth Chan-ocha announced his New Year's gift for Thai citizens: Free virtual stickers representing the Junta Leader's moral teachings for the chat application LINE.
Thailand's Ministry of Information, Communication, and Technology (ICT) is creating the stickers. They will be available for free on December 30th, 2014.
The stickers will depict the Twelve Values that Junta Leader and Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha wants all Thais to practice.
Thailand's government will pay LINE seven million Baht to provide the Twelve Values Stickers to users free of charge.
LINE is the most popular messenger applications in social media obsessed Thailand. According to the Japan-based company, there are at least 24 million registered LINE users in Thailand out of a population of 65 million.
Authorities have already instructed public schools and state agencies to hang a banner listing General Prayuth's teachings on their premises. State agencies have also produced a poem, song, and 12-part film based on the Twelve Values.
The film, produced by Thailand's Kantana Group and titled Thai Niyom, stirred controversy shortly after it was released because of a scene in which two children are seen painting and praising a picture of Adolf Hitler.

How Hitler started World War II
Hitler was good at persuading a lot of people, but he refused to listen to the majority. He was always arrogant. That's why the war happened, claims Kulp Kaljaruek, a manager at Kantana Group and a producer of the Thai Pride movie series commissioned by Junta Leader Prayut Chan-o-cha and his government to promote Thai values...

Chaos Night
On December 5th, the Birthday of His Majesty the King of Thailand, Pattaya once again was in disorder.
In Jomtien almost all bars and entertainment venues were closed, at least until 24:00.
In Naklua many Bars were open, but the revellers had no other entertainment than to watch TV from a seat placed in the dark.
On Walking Street most venues were open and provided the usual entertainment, but without the usual noise.
It shows again that Pattaya's Officials obviously are not capable to govern this City.

Police News
No Helmet but speedy
In the early hours of Monday an off-duty Police Officer sustained a serious and potentially life-threatening head injury after he lost control of his motorbike. He was driving to fast and without helmet on Jomtien's Second Road.
Running fast and without helmet on this patchwork road is simply stupid. A Police Officer should know and abide it.
We already warned our readers in our September issue about the bad condition of Jomtien's new - but already bumpy - Second Road.
Be aware, parts of the street are in a disastrous state and the left lines are covered by sand. Extremly dangerous.

The Way Pattaya wastes the Taxpayers' Money
On October 1st, 2008, Pattaya Mayor Itthiphol Khunplome unveiled his ambitious plan to built a Skytrain in Pattaya to connect his City Hall with Bali Hai.
In the first project Itthiphol's dream train should run along the City's Beach Road. After many protests, Pattaya's Mayor presented a new project using Pattaya's Second Road.
Thailand's Government had to stop the Mayor's stupid plan.
The meeting and the feasibility studies cost the taxpayer millions of Baht.
During August 2009 Pattaya Mayor Itthiphol Khunplome and his City Hall launched 17 million Baht advertising campaign to bring (Thai) tourists back to Pattaya.
Tourists called the 'Pattaya Be Our Guest' promotion a scam and complained that no discounts or freebies were actually available. The advertising campaign gave the impression that Pattaya is offering free rooms and a lot of other discounts. In fact the fine print of the promotion had not been properly explained and is hard to understand for most people.
The stupid campaign wasted millions of Taxpayer's money.
Itthiphol Khunplome's Observation Towers
During May 2010 Pattaya Mayor Itthiphol Khunplome and his City Hall installed observation towers along Pattaya's and Jomtien's Beaches.
In all that years they have never been used and are poised to rust away...
A unnecessary waste of Taxpayer's money.
Pattaya Mayor Itthiphol Khunplome and his City Hall launched the Pattaya City Hospital on Soi Buakoaw.
The Mayor promised that the Pattaya City Hospital will offer free primary health services for people with state insurance and low prices for tourists. The 24-hour center should have five medical departments with 86 beds.
Reality is that the hospital opened one and a half year later than projected, the proces for consultation are about in par with the Pattaya Bangkok Hospital but without its expertise. Pattaya City Hospital still lack the recognition of the insurance companies. You still ahve to pay the hospitals invoices from your very own pocket. Until today a gigantic waste of Taxpayer's money.
Pattaya Mayor Itthiphol Khunplome and his City Hall beautified Pattaya's North Road and Bali Hai with a new street lightings displaying flying dolphins.
Instead of investing the money to solve Pattaya's infrastructure problems the Mayor wasted Millions of Baht for unnecessary 'toys'.
Pattaya Mayor Itthiphol Khunplome and his City Hall launched the Bali Hai harbour project.
The jachts still can't use the harbour. Part of the installations already start to rust.
A gigantic waste of money.
Pattaya Mayor Itthiphol Khunplome and his City Hall launched the Bali Hai fully automatic parking house and sacrificed a popular park.
The parking house is still out of service. A small pool in front of the building is nothing else than a cesspit and a 'incubator' for mosquitoes.
A gigantic waste of money.
Pattaya Mayor Itthiphol Khunplome and his City Hall launched a third lane on Pattaya's Beach Road, officially known as Sai Nueng (1st Road).
They forged to install an efficacious drainage system. During rainy times the street is flooded for hours.
A gigantic waste of money.
Pattaya Mayor Itthiphol Khunplome and his City Hall installed Pedestrian lights along some streets in Pattaya and Jomtien.
Road users and Police are ignoring the lights, making crossing Pattaya's streets even more dangerous.
Police even ordered the shutdown of most lights on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
A gigantic waste of money.
Pattaya Mayor Itthiphol Khunplome and his City Hall initiated a remodelling of Pattaya's Beach Promenade.
The obviously brainless designers removed the existing elevations, provided to stop water to enter the sea.
The result: During rain the water not only floods Beach Road and its (new) Promenade, the water also sweeps the sand into the sea. After every flood the City has to restore the Beach.
A gigantic waste of money.
Pattaya Mayor Itthiphol Khunplome and his City Hall announced to built the long projected but controversial Sukhumvit Tunnel.
According to City Hall the construction on the Tunnel should start on November 15th, 2014. A few days after the announcement media reported that the Pattaya tunnel construction was postponed until the end of new year's celebration to reduce traffic congestion during the holiday period.
Many people believe that the tunnel will be a deathtrap during rainy times. Sukhumvit Road is already known as being flooded during rain.
Probably another gigantic waste of money.
Pattaya Mayor Itthiphol Khunplome and his City Hall announced that the long-delayed plans to rebuild Pattaya Beach may finally get underway in December with a 430 million baht Marine Department project.
About 360'000 cu metres of sand from a Rayong estuary will be transported into Pattaya Beach, up from the initial estimate of 200'000 cu metres that would be needed. If the sand continued to be swept away by 10'000 cubic metres a year, more would be added in the next decade.
It seems that at least some people know where the sand goes, therefore it is unbelievable for observers that the City doesn't use the expertise of foreign specialists to capture the sand in the sea and bring it back to the Beach.
Pattaya's way will be another gigantic waste of money.
Update (December 1st): Pattaya Daily News reports that Pattaya Mayor Itthiphol Khunplome appointed a committe to investigate corrupt Officials...
Please note: Attack is still the best form of defence.

On September 6th, 2014, our Police arrested a Cambodian for destroing the good image of Pattaya: He kicked sand of a Russian tourist not paying for sitting down on Koh Larn's Beach.
Since many years Pattaya's Jet Ski operators destroy Pattaya's good image by scamming tourists. Our lovely Police never arrested one single scammer. It is said that most of the Jet Ski business is in the hands of influent people as well as some Officials.
Pattaya's Police and the City Hall's Officials are responsible for Pattaya's bad image in this world, nobody else.
Our Police clean up Pattaya Beach from its prostitutes on a regular basis: They collect them, move them on a pickup car and drive them to Soi 9. There they get some ethical instructions and a fine between 100 and 500 Baht. Furthermore the Police register the names of the detainees. If a arrested person don't like to be registered he/she has usually has to pay 500 Baht. After the procedure the Ladies and Ladyboys can go back to their working place(s). A ridiculous exercise.
Pattaya's Police behavior is responsible for Pattaya's bad image in this world.
Some time ago Pattaya's Officials ordered Police and volunteers to patrol on Pattaya Beach to supress criminals and what these people do? They sit down on Pattaya's Beach Promenade, play with their phones and tablets and are socializing with the gangster.
Pattaya's Officials are themself creating Pattaya's bad image.

New Pedestrian light
City Hall places a new dangerous Pedestrian Light
City Hall places a new Pedestrian Light at North Pattaya's Roundabout, just a few meters after the merger of North Road with Naklua Road.
Pedestrian Lights in Pattaya are dangerous because almost all drivers of vehicles - as well as our lovely Police - are ignoring them, but placed just after a junction they are at least twice as dangerous.
The same stupidity can be seen at the Beach Road / Central Road junction.
New Pedestrian light
Obviously Pattaya's Officials will never learn...
Update (December 25th, 2014):
Pattaya's most dangerous Pedestrian Light already enabled
New Pedestrian light
Just after the T-junction a driver is confronted with the Pedestrian Light.
New Pedestrian light
At the moment only the lights on the sidewalks are working. The lights on the middle strip do not work, e.g. for Pedestrians they show a red light only. And because the lights on the opposite side can not be seen, Pedestrians don't know if they have the right to cross - or not.
The lights in the middle strip will have no provision to reactivate the the green light, that means if you can't cross full the street because some drivers ignore the lights, you have to wait in the middle of the street until somebody else likes to cross the street and reactivates the lights.
People designing and installing such a stupid installation must be brainless. Obviously they never used a Pedestrian Light themself.

Pattaya's United Police
Since a few days Chonburi's Provincial Police Division is supporting Pattaya City Police, Pattaya's Tourist Police and Banglamung Police at least on Beach Road with foot patrols, bicycle patrols, Segway patrols, golf car patrols and horse patrols to prevent criminal acts against Pattaya's (missing) tourists.
But when Chinese tourists are populating Pattaya Beach no Police can be spotted.
It seems Pattaya's United Police don't like to see that the whole bunch of tourists don't wear the obliged life vests and that some of the boats obviously are overcrowded.
At least a funny Mr. Care Khun is greeting from billboards along Pattaya Beach Promenade and tells the tourist that some Police should have a look at them...
We recommend that City Hall spends a can of beer to everybody who can spot a working Police man in the resort.
Mr. Care Khun
Mr. Care Khun - or at least his banner - can now be found on Pattaya's Walking Street too! Some people already believe that the (invisible) Mr. Care Khun will be Chonburi's next Godfather.

Thailand's Public Health Ministry reports that heart disease kills six Thais an hour.
According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), about 17 million people worldwide die from heart problems each year. The number of deaths is expected to reach 23 million by 2030.
Thailand's ministry has so far focused on preventative measures, such as a campaign to educate people on the importance of a balanced diet, underlying that the cause of heart disease usually was an unbalanced diet.
Other chronic diseases, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and obesity affect the blood vessels and increase the chances of patients suffering from heart disease.
People should consume less sugar-loaded and greasy foods and reduce their sodium intake. Quitting smoking and reducing alcohol consumption could also improve health.
The rising prevalence of diabetes in Thailand is associated with dietary changes, reduced physical activity and health education, the Ministry says.
The incidence of obesity in Thailand is already significantly higher than in most other countries in the region, and worse is yet to come.
The obesity epidemic now developing in Thailand has all the makings of a perfect storm because the Thai approach to food and eating is social and relaxed, often featuring multiple snacks or meals at irregular times of the day or night.
Thai people love sweet tastes and add a considerable amount of sugar to many popular recipes. As an example, a key factor in the successful introduction of pizza to the Thai populace was the addition of extra amounts of tomato sauce (which is high in sugar) than is used in pizza topping in western countries.
'Healthy' Rice...
General Prayut Chan-o-cha, the Chief of the Military Junta and Thailand's current Prime Minister told people in his weekly TV show: We should preserver Thai culture of eating rice instead of teaching Thais to eat bread. Foreign athletes now eat rice as source of energy while Thais have started shunning rice. I would like to promote Thais to eat rice and would like the entire global populations to eat rice. The fast speaking General forget to mention - or perhaps not even know - that top athletes like to drink Coca-Cola too...
Obviously Thailand's strong man doesn't know that rice not only contains three times as much calories as potatos - and 50% more calories than French Fries - most varieties of Thai rice contain an excessive concentration of Glucose.
For diabetics high concentration of glucose can end deadly, the rest of Thailand's population transform it to fat - as explained above.
Perhaps the General as well as YOU should read Sugar worse than Salt. Researchers from St. Luke's Mid America Heart Institute and the Montefiore Medical Centre in the USA came to the conclusion that sugar - particularly Fructose - may play a stronger role in high blood pressure and other cardiac conditions than salt.
'Healthy' Honey...
Honey is currently advertised as a very healty food, mainly because its a natural product and some of its ingredients are now used in medicines.
It is true that Honey contains antimicrobial, antioxidant, and hygroscopic ingredients and possesses carcinogen-preventing and anti-tumour properties. But these ingredients must be extracted to be effective.
Honey contains about 31% Glucose and 38.5% Fructose. Our body metabolizes excessive Glucose and Fructose into blood fat. Think about!
Spores of some bacteria can survive in honey. Especially dangerous is the pathogen Clostridium botulinum. Therefore: Never feed infants with honey!
Food that is dangerous for babies can't be called healthy. Call it eatable but never healthy.

It seems that nobody takes care of the about 850 students from the Soi's Redemptorist Vocational School - not even our lazy police. They close the eyes.
PS: On July 28th Officials from City Hall inspected the area. They discovered that people drive their vehicles to fast in this small Soi and (as documented on this website since June 2014) are parking cars and motorcycles on the wheelchair way. Pattaya's Officials urge the people not to be selfish...
And that's the result!
And that's the result of City Hall's 3 million Baht investment...
Update: On October 21st Pattaya Deputy Mayor Ronnakit Aegasing paid a visit to the area and saw himself that irresponsible people are obstructing the stretch. Therefore the lovely Deputy Mayor arranged a meeting for October 24th to discuss the matter...

Obviously not made to help Pattaya's Handicapped
Nothing than empty words from Pattaya's Officials!
Obviously the 3 million Baht weren't spend to help the Handicapped, but to fill up someone's pocket...

Coup Leader
Military Junta Leader and Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha pushed back general election promised for late 2015, saying that election must come with a new constitution and eleven reform areas. Therefore he can stretch election into 2016 or 2017...
The Dictator and his wife have declared a joint worth of 128 million Baht in assets and 654'745 Baht in debt. He said he could not remember the details, but all of the items could be examined and verified. I can justify my personal wealth, he claims.
On May 9th, 2013, the General sold nine plots of land totalling 50 rai located in Bangkok's Bang Bon district to 69 Property Co Ltd. The company has a British Virgin Islands address, was registered just 7 days before the deal and belongs to Thailand's liquor and property billionaire Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi.
When Thaksin Shinawatra sold his AIS to Temasek Holdings, a company owned by the Government of Singapore, the very same Bangkok Elite called the deal a foulplay...
Selling assets to a foreign company is a legal way for Thai citizens to avoid paying taxes, but it seems it is a big difference if a member of Bangkok's Elite does the deal or a newcomer from Chiang Mai.
The Junta Leader ordered the media not publishing news about Thailand's former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra. Dictator Prayuth Chan-ocha claims that Thaksin Shinawatra violated Thailand's law.
Be aware of the NSA
Be aware of the NSA
The National Security Agency has built a network that can access as much as 75% of all U.S. Web traffic. With the help of Great Britain's Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ), they control whole of Europe too.
Disolve the EU!
Disolve the European Union! It's nothing else than a gigantic Mafia Organisation wasting the Taxpayers money.
Disolve the EU!
The bureaucrats in the European Union are supporting Monsanto, Dupont, Syngenta, Bayer Crop Science and KWS and endanger with their regulations the biodiversity of our foods, plants and animals.
Stop these idiots, before it's too late!
Disolve the
European Union!
Global Warming
Global Warming:
It's a Myth!
Nature isn't predictable
1968 scientists predicted the comeback of the Ice-Time. What they will tell you tomorrow?
We do not ignore 'Climat Change', but we know that this planet faces 'Climat Changes' since millions of years - some even a lot more dramatic than today and without the help of humans.
Todays 'Climat Change' is nothing else than a very lucrative business idea.
The United Nations Environment Programme (Unep) claims:
Global Warming could cost almost three times as much as thought...
The CO2 emissions tax doesn't reduce any CO2 emission, its just another way to extort money from the taxpayers.
The United Nations as well as the European Union are some of the world's most useless organisations.
Milk the Cow before somebody else does it!
Avoid Electric Vehicles
Electric Vehicles use batteries and batteries are not only a threat to our planet during manufacturing, the 'Recycling' of batteries is still an unsolved problem in most countries.
Don't use Solar Cells
Solar Cells are a threat to our planet:
The higher the efficiency of a Solar Cell the more Cadmium it contains.
Cadmium is banned from most products in almost all countries, but it can be used without restrictions in Solar Cells. Who controls the 'Recycling' of Solar Cells?
No Nuke Please!
Never forget Chernobyl, Hiroshima, Nagasaki & Fukushima!
Never use a technology you do not master 100%!
Never forget:
It's not your Face and not your Body that makes you sexy.
It's your MONEY!
Microsoft loses again
The global market share of Windows Phone-based smartphones is still declining.
The specifications and functionality of high-end Windows Phones are not outstanding and the price/performance ratios of entry-level and mid-range Windows Phones are not as strong as Android-based smartphones.
Shipments of Windows Phones totaled nine million units in the third quarter of 2014, accounting for 3% of the global smartphone market.
Last year Microsoft had a market share of 3.6%.
During the same period, Android- and Apple-based smartphones held a market share of 83.1% and 12.7%, respectively.

High-Tech Shit
Before you buy one of this High-Tech Cars here in Pattaya or anywhere else, read Spike's blog.
And then look out for a very very old Chevrolet, Ford, Studebaker, Chrysler or any other completely outdated American Car.
No matter how rusty they are, you can fix almost every problem yourself.
Cyber Attack
The recent cyber attack that led Sony to cancel the release of "The Interview" movie obviously is the proof that all these anti-virus programs are nothing else than nonsense.
Why you slow down your computer by running a completely useless program?
Large Smartphones get cheaper
Our source in China reports that Meizu is launching a 5.0-inch and a 5.5-inch handset for US$129 resp. US159 in the local market.
Both phones are equipped with a MT6752 64-bit 8-core processor from MediaTek.
Until September 2014 all of Meizu's smartphones used CPUs from Samsung.
HD TV in Pattaya
All major Thai TV stations have to broadcast their programs digitally and most of them do it in what they call HD (High Definition).
Pattaya's Cable TV Providers generously enrich the pictures with analogue noise - free of charge...
Microsoft's lame Duck
Microsoft's new Operating System called Windows 8.1 is nothing than a lame duck.
Moving files from one drive to another on a new 64-bit laptop takes about 3 times as long as on a 10-year old Celeron equiped 32-bit XP notebook.
Dear Microsoft, an Operating System has to be slim, fast and reliable, not loaded with a bunch of useless and stupid gadgets.
The $199 Laptop
ASUS launched a $199 cheap laptop including Microsoft's Windows 8.1 with Bing Operating System.
The Asus EeeBook X205TA features a 11.6 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel display, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB flash-storage and supports Wireless N and Bluetooth.

Do not ride Jet Ski in Pattaya!
No progress on Jet Ski saga:
Pattaya City Hall still doesn't do anything to stop the scam!
All the announcements made during last year were City Hall Blah-Blah only...
As long as Jet Ski vendors - respectively their victims - fill up our officials' pockets nothing will happen!
Avoid Pattaya's Islands
The boats are overloaded, don't provide lifevests for all passengers, are badly maintaited and aren't covered by adequate insurance policies.
Pattaya's lazy and allegedly corrupt Officials promised to check owners, personnel and boats regularly, but they don't.
